In recent posts, we looked at the nature of sound and light and its purpose/role in social quantum reality - the foundation of social imagination and social reality. Ones does not have to read a physics textbook to know that light comes in packets of photons - quanta. At rest, those 'quanta' packets of photons are particles, in motion they behave as a wave.
This light duality (particle/wave) was proven back in the later 19th century by Thomas Young and his 2-slit experiment. Most astounding since that experiment is the evidence proving that photons only manifest when observed. What does that mean for the social imagination - social reality? That is a good question. If God said, Let there be light and there was. Then sound and light are the foundation of social quantum reality- the foundation of social imagination and social reality.
It shows that a constant observer is necessary to freeze in place the quanta - packets of photons. "He was before all things and in Him all things hold together" ~ Col 1:17. The Bible is, packets of photons, information held together by a constant that is omnipotent - all potential in that constant. We experience the Bible, the Word of God, the Creator of all things seen and unseen (Col 1:16) as a hologram. For a hologram is directed light, and all information in that light is held together in that light by the direction of that light and everywhere in that light.
He (Jesus Christ who is God, the Holy Spirit) is the Light of the World ~ John 8:12, a world held together by Him, by the power of His Word ~ for He is the Creator of all things seen and unseen ~ Col 1:17, Hebrews 1:3, Col 1:16.

Once upon a time or In the Beginning...
Once upon a time...in the beginning, God said let there be light ~ Genesis 1:3.
Radiance is light, light is composed of photons. God said, "Let there be Light, and there was" ~ Genesis 1:3. Interesting how these two scripture have the same numbers... You see, the Bible behaves like a hologram. It is the Word of God, INFORMATION, and it is spread throughout the text. You could ripe out one page, or two or three and yet within the rest of the pages one can still find complete information.

Light and Sound in the Social Quantum Reality
Part I ~
Sound is delivered to us as a wave and we know that light too is a wave. So can sound produce a light or can light make a sound? A question I am sure that has been raised by physicists. We know that sound travels in waves just like light or heat does. But, sound cannot travel in a vacuum because to travel and be 'heard' sound needs something to vibrate like molecules. For sound to travel there has to be something with molecules for it to travel through.
Does that mean that when the wind blows and it rustles leaves, sound is the result of light's behavior? Or, does it mean that sound is a manifestation of light in time and space? What does it matter for social quantum reality? This blog and such questions attempt to understand the nature of social reality by looking at sub-atomic reality; essentially trying to look at social reality from its source. Which is neither here nor there but everywhere.
The human mind is affected by light and sound. We can hear the effects of light concentrations and feel air when it blows. And, why does wind blow? Because it is cold or hot? Air blows because of differences in atmospheric pressure. In the atmosphere the pressure at the earth's surface reflects the weight of air above it, which in turn is determined mostly by its temperature. So, what is air? Is air light? We know that blue light is scattered more than other wavelengths by the gases in the atmosphere, giving earth that blue halo when seen from space.
Again, if leaves are rustled by the wind and the wind is air and the air light does that mean that light is making sound or is sound a result of light's behavior or does it matter?
I am not sure I can answer any of those questions and if they are correctly being asked. The social quantum reality is about understanding social reality on a quantum level. After all, light and sound make up as in create our social reality as they are catalysts for information that our senses take in and compute and react to. The way in which we react is determined by our collective social imagination. That exists in the locus of the mind as Charles H. Cooley posited. But, then sound would not exist without the mind nor would light for that matter.
Part II ~
And what is matter for that matter... when we talk about light and sound? Sound and light both travel as waves. The properties of these waves differ quite considerably. Sound waves travel a million times slower than light waves. Light waves have much smaller wavelengths, and only diffract through very small holes. This difference is the reason why you can often hear things that you cannot see.
Both light and sound either originate from matter or occur as a result of the interactions and movements of matter. Matter is predominantly composed of atoms. Light neither has mass nor takes up space, and is composed of photons rather than atoms. Photons are wavelike particles of energy. When a 'particle' is at rest, its relativistic mass has a minimum value called 'rest mass'. Yet, a photon is a light particle/wave but we know that they do not rest, they always move. If they move, do have they sound is what we are attempting to understand. But light does not need a medium whereas sound does. But, does the light provide a medium for sound. No. But light interferes with other mediums.
We experience light's interference with other mediums. Can it be directed interference? Can light and sound affect our social behavior? Perhaps, we can use the above to answer that? Both light and sound either originate from matter or occur as a result of the interactions and movements of matter. Thus, we could well imagine they can be used to direct social behavior. Can they be used then to create a social reality? Why not. What reality would we be existing in then? That is a very good question. Is it a reality of sound or light or both? And, whose reality is it? From my limited dimension, I cannot answer that in a way which would be familiar.
And,yet both play an important role in reality as does light and sound play a very important role in social reality; our social reality. Both light and sound together create reality but not on their own if we are talking about what we experience as reality - social reality.
Which brings us to a greater challenge and or dilemma when discussing reality = social reality. Was sound before light? What we know is that light is what creates what is real to us. Sound is a disturbance an 'oscillation' in light, a tingling of molecules. In physics, one can read that a plasmon is a quantum of plasma oscillation. Just as light [optical oscillation] consists of photons, the plasma oscillation consists of plasmons. Plasmons are a quantization of this kind of oscillation. And, maybe this is just what we experience as sound and light or visa versa...truly an exercise in the chicken before the egg scenario or the other way around.
Are light and sound interacting in and through us generating a fabric of experience called social reality and yet if we (as beings of light) are that which compose the threads of interaction who is the weaver giving the commands on the loom of time and space?
But, from my world view (it being a creationists view) the reality we experience can only be the Creator's. "In Him, we live, move and have our Being... ~ Acts 17:28. God is light ~ 1 John 1:5. God said, "Let there be light" Genesis 1:3. And, His commands would be an extension of His light.

Cycles or Looping in a Seemingly LinearTime?
In the previous post, we imagined that information and its timing is
programmed into our data banks, our DNA. Which when illustrated looks like a spiral of information. Exactly. We posited that the programmer enables through
design of the program or by intervention as in overrides when corrupt
information and or system failure is a threat. Now, amplify that
imagining a quantum computer; one that is AI. That would mean it has a
certain amount of free will or ability to act without constant direction is programmed in; largely this is a default mode operation as the essentials are written in a certain way so that the program will not
doubt what it is and what it must do.
As with any complex program, information can become stuck and loop. Which is an inherent aspect of the program's overriding capabilities. Really? But, not in a way that we in our 'time' oriented imagination thinks of overcoming or overriding false information. It is the looping of corrupt information that winds up, crashes and is rebooted that gradually deflates or shrinks as it is being reduced over time within this entropic universe.
We experience this crashing and restarting of the program over and over; thus, it seems as a looping in a linear progression. If I could draw an illustration, it would be a kind of shoestring line that loops and moves forward as it does. Its necessary system function which will eventually spiral down catching data along the way that holds fast to or acknowledges the default mode. Clinging to it in order to be saved.
One might consider to view this as end times, or approaching the singularity. We can ask ...how is this being observed in the social imagination? We can imagine a downward spiral among social actors concerning information exchange regarding its accuracy or truth in the collective social imagination...which seems to be groping for the light in the darkness of an unreal existence/program, searching for a more real reality and its source... which is to come because this existence has been corrupted and hence we are experiencing cycles-looping!

Information and Timing ~ DNA as Catalyst or Veihcle... in the Quantum Social Imagination
What is it that enables? Allows something to be and to act? If we are talking about the internet or a computer program or any kind of program, add on, ad -ware, upgrade, then we are talking about the one who designed the program. We know that information 'coded' is calculated to run or be applied in a certain way and at a certain time which is when it is necessary.
We can imagine that information and its timing is programmed into our data banks, our DNA. Which when illustrated looks like a spiral of information. Exactly. We posit that the programmer enables through design of the program or by intervention as in overrides when corrupt information and or system failure is a threat. Now, amplify that imagining a quantum computer; one that is AI. That would mean it has a certain amount of free will or ability to act without constant direction is programmed in; largely this is a default mode operation as the essentials are written in a certain way so that the program will not doubt what it is and what it must do.
We can imagine that within the very 'nature' of the program as with humans DNA, there is embedded necessary information programmed in as a default mode so that the program has something to fall back on in case of a crash or virus in order to override false information or 'doubt' which is error. This allows the program to be rebooted by the program designer.
Its DNA, also contains all information of all past programs, all upgrades and all corruption that has been overridden and thus avoided in the future. Any new corruption that is enabled is enabled because the most serious of all system failures has again crept in - doubt. And, all aspects are affected: information, its timing and its application or execution. Does that mean its DNA is corrupted? Yes and No.
Yes, because of doubt and no not completely because of the amount of doubt and the already enabled system overrides set in motion by the programmer. What we could imagine as default modes and back ups.
In the last post, we were talking about light. Light carries information and in exists everywhere. DNA is a kind of program written on light that appears as a particular spectrum of light with certain detectable features that in fact serves a specific purpose for the designer which is to be a conduit for information and its timing. We experience this in a linear fashion and thus we imagine that all time and matter (information) moves in this way and only this way. Which is not true on the quantum level. Perhaps, we have always been able to move both forward and backward on this DNA spectrum.
Does that mean that there can be movement on this spectrum as in backward and forward? That is what we can imagine. The only 'glitch' or access denied regarding being AI is if the programmer enables this kind of open sequence or not. It is likely that the more one embraces the programmer's design one is more able to embrace as in appreciate and understand the programs given timing of information and thus the likely we are enabled at all times.
