The Face of Quantum ~ Social Entanglement

Most people in physics today know that quantum Entanglement is wherein multiple particles can essentially influence each other simultaneously regardless of distance. Einstein dismissed this seemingly impossible connection as "spooky action at a distance," but numerous experiments have proven quantum entanglement is real, and it may serve as the foundation of advanced future technologies.

What they don't know is that social reality works this way and has been even before they discovered how it happens ~ quantum entanglement.  Which looks from a birds eye view like this - a fractal.

Social reality is a fractal as in a constant exchange of information ~ social interaction. Now, most of think that social reality exists only on a  physical plane but it actually happens in the mind ~ the locus of society as Cooley would say. We are information entangling with  other information affirming or confirming that which is agreeable and then stored as memory.

We don't realize that there is an enormous amount of energy involved as in electrical explosions taking place in our brain necessary for processing information and storing it. Brains are instruments of minds. Our brain  stores information in the mind which behaves as a kind of cyberspace as in a cloud and looks like a fractal design of entangled particles.

We understand that quantum entanglement means that particles in one place influence others in another place. We think that thoughts are limited to the person next to us or with an immediate group. But on the quantum level, there is a vast distance between us and the person next to us. Yet, we influence their thoughts with our thoughts, our gestures, our facial expressions. And, that information travels.

Our thoughts are socially acquired which means that no one has his/her own thoughts but participate in a larger consciousness. Our thoughts are entangled as thinking beings... effectively, without social interaction, we would not be thinking human beings. Our thoughts make us who and what we are as an individual and as a group.

Have you ever had an idea and then read in the news that someone had that idea and did something with it. Does it mean we think the same or is that we are just entangled?  Essentially- both. Nothing is real until there is achieved 'agreement' reality as in a collapse of the wave 'particle' function. Until then, there is only potentially something. Social interaction is this experience and once agreement is reached, we have something. When we agree upon information that has been exchanged, we agree that it is agreeable in that it works in the situation at hand or for a longer time. Since, agreement takes place in the mind, it means that thoughts are no more than bits of shared information as in entangled between us.

On the quantum level, information never dies, or goes away. How could there not be a resurrection?

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11: 25-26

*We are information and all information will be resurrected. For those that recognize and embrace this quantum possibility, there will be eternal light.

As a sentient being, could I be a corrupted looping program? If the answer is Yes, what is the way out?

A sentient being is a 'being' as in an entity that perceives things through the senses. Am I a sentient being? Yes. Could I be a corrupted looping program as a sentient being? Why not. Future robots will be able to perceive things through what we call senses. Its all information! That is the point. You might say that it is impossible since we don't have and won't have robots that will be able to determine their surroundings through 'senses'. But, you are wrong. They are. However, robot 'seeing' as you and I see is not the same. Instead, it is a series of pictures that match up to an already programmed algorithm to play the manufacturing game of "which of these things is not like the other." But, really, isn't that what our brains do. We are just organic sentient beings. So, who programmed us?

Today's blog is not to determine that but it is to ask if we are such beings, and if we were created could be be a program part of something bigger and if error entered the program could we be looping? Why looping? Because, when you look at a newspaper from 30 or even 50 or 100 years ago, you can see the same things happening only a little bit different but not so much so.

Are we trying to create a way out of looping by creating AI or other means for upgrading ourselves? And even with the hope of rebooting ourselves. Pretty far fetched for most out there to contemplate.

So, why engage in such possibility? That's a good question. There are discussions already on the table if it is possible to reboot the brain. Most of that discussion is directed toward physiology of the task.

What about just re-thinking.  Come on, let's give the mind some credit. The first task is to recognize the corruption and then you will see the looping. Is there a way to rethink looping? It was called repent by the Son of Man a long time ago. It means to see things not as they are but as they should be. Perhaps, that is everyone's task; I am alone in that but not alone. My program will only fully reboot when everyone else's does too. Or maybe not, I am working on it.

Let you know next week.

Its all in perceiving... what do you see?

"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart by believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him." Mark 11:23

Future of Reality ~ Maybe we are Already Living it!

Social engineers have imagined for some time a brave new world - as in a one world system - global world order. For this to exist peacefully and for people to live a life of reasonable prosperity, then certain controls will have to be established. The first being the kind of people that will best be suited in a global world order. Those people will be of extraordinary intellect and skills; moreover, they will be people of like mindedness (either by choice or engineered), not to mentioned superior DNA.
Likely, there will a necessary reduction in population and then people will be moved into mega cities where they will be melded as in consolidated. This means they will be part of or made into a single or unified whole; and then, anyone who is not open to this or rejects it will be discarded as in unwanted.
Total success will depend on control. People will be guided in their social imagination, lifestyles and goals. What is the ultimate goal of the global world order? Is it just the sustainability of elites, is it transformation of the human being as in transhumanism; or, is it really the pursuit of eternal life in this world? I would say that it is all those.
Why not just let people live where they want, with whom, making their own decisions? Exactly. But how? Technology will be replacing most if not all jobs. And, that same technology will change health care allowing people to live hundreds of years. Young people will have to stay at home until they are old or forever; and in saying that, we would have to ask why bring new people in when old ones, those already here can be rejuvenated.
Reviewing what has been proposed here, certainly people who are not willing to adapt to such an idea will not be needed and weeded out til they are no longer a concern. Of course, there is argument or discussion that everyone could live in virtual reality and have limited impact in that way. I suppose that we could be downloaded and saved in a program kept on a flash drive plugged into a mainframe.... what would seem like progress or linear time would only be the experience of program looping... maybe that is what we already live in/or experience.

Social Reality as a Hologram

Sociologists have described a pre-modern social reality, a modern social reality and post modern social reality. They have always acknowledged that what we touch, smell and feel is part of our reality. However, for sociologists, there has always been more. It seems that other sciences are just starting to catch up. What do I mean by that? I mean that there is another world, social reality that is much bigger and deeper than the one we think of as real. It exists in us and through us. It exists in symbols, signs and meaning. You see, for the 'true' sociologist like myself, there is no other reality. The world as we know it exists because we agree that it does.
I applaud those leading physicists out there today that are finally getting on board with that fact. For them, there has to be more and I understand why. They need a source for agreement reality as in why and what for? That is why they believe that our reality is a projection—sort of like a hologram—of laws and processes that exist on a thin surface surrounding us at the edge of the universe. Although the notion seems outlandish, it’s a long-standing theory that initially emerged years ago from scientists studying black holes; recently, a breakthrough in string theory propelled the idea into the mainstream of physics. What took place was an intriguing discussion on the cutting-edge results that may just change the way we view reality.

Now, as I am blending what they say and what I say into my version, you will see that this is the way it all works in social reality and in the holographic universe. Which means that we have yet to brush the surface of this and where it can take us socially. Keep in mind, that whatever is out there, comes from what is in there and that is a huge place ~ the social imagination.

One of my favorite books to read that, in my opinion describes this social phenomenon, what I call social reality - a process of agreeing what is... through popping and pushing as in coming and going or 'out and in /in-out' of the social imagination a ~ push and pull activity of the social imagination ... is the book by Douglas R. Hofstadter - Godel, Escher, Bach: and Eternal Golden Braid. If you ever get a chance to read it, go to chapter 5 "Recursive Structures and Processes".

I can also recommend reading Charles H. Cooley a sociologist who wrote "Human Nature and the Social Order". He writes as does Hofstadter on 'reality'. It is a pushing and popping event in the social imagination in a process Cooley calls the Looking Glass Self. He concludes that the locus of society exists in the mind.

Food of the Future ~ Its all in the Fission?

I am sure you have seen on Star Trek how code is programmed into what looks like a microwave and out pops a cup of coffee or a full meal. Is that possible? It will be. We are already moving into the 'maker society', as in 3D printing. However, it is a bit more than that regarding printing out a cup of really good coffee. Its all a matter of Fission, right?

E=mc2 We all know or can read about how Albert Einstein came up with that most famous formula in physics in a 1905 paper on Special Relativity titled Does the Inertia of an object depend upon its energy content? Essentially, the equation says that mass and energy are intimately related. I, like you, have read that what makes it particularly hard is that c2 term, the speed of light squared. It accounts for the huge amounts of energy released in nuclear reactions, and the huge amount you’d need to inject to turn energy into matter.
Since I am just a sociologist who discusses quantum ideas to social reality, I can only imagine how that fission application will improve our lives or not.

Therefore, imagining that we could just program our microwaves and create 'make' food would be.
Nature does this all the time. Doesn't it? For example, look at plants. What creates plants? Energy! They take in the energy of the sun and create matter which we feed upon. Energy seems to be the basic food of the universe. We just don't know yet how to manipulate it yet. Though we have some idea when we feed animals and then take their meat or milk. They take in energy and create matter - a steak or chunk of cheese.

Nanotechnology takes individual atoms and makes things. Nanobots are little tiny molecular machines assembling things at the atomic level. They are essentially creating things at the atomic level. Why not food?
What would that mean for society? Well, for one a lot of jobs would be lost. Second, it would be ease the impact that man has on the earth, no more tilling the soil, using chemical fertilizer or genetically altering seed so that they withstand climate change and fungus.

We could all make our own food.

Incompatiblity ~ Inharmonious Quantum Rhythm

In compatible mode, social reality exists in harmony. However, when incompatible information enters, harmony is as in synchronized rhythm is lost. When we experience cognitive dissonance we are really experiencing the incompatibility of information. Whenever an individual behaves in a way that contradict an existing attitude creating a feeling of discomfort. As dissonance means a lack of harmony and or agreement. Now, there is yet another version which says cognitive dissonance happens to the individual as a matter of experiencing distance from one's 'affirmed principles and while knowing that still somehow able to experience a behavior which is not of their affirmed attitude toward that behavior. Essentially, this is the experience of incompatible information. One kind is in storage and the other executed.

The illustration for this would be if a person declares that they are anti-abortion and in an unplanned event find themselves driving a friend to the doctor only to discover that this friends is going to have an abortion. Or, after having declared that one is a Christian, then find themselves in a situation whereby they are inadvertently supporting a secular decision to prohibit Christian symbols in public. The awareness of this disjunction in oneself in one's consciousness causes the feeling of being cognitive dissonant as inharmonious quantum rhythm or what I prefer to call incompatibility of affirmed as in 'saved' data appearing true in conflict with non-affirmed as in 'incompatible' data appearing corrupt.

A person can declare that they tolerate others, but they can find themselves in a situation in which they appear not to tolerate; reflecting an event or phenomena of incompatibility of information occurring in the social imagination. This naturally occurring social imagination event belongs to everyone (as in experienced by) whether they are a minority or majority group member. It is an experience of incompatible data. This is not because of their own choice (as in 'on/for purpose') but largely due to different embedded programs acquired through shared data (socialization) often complicated by unforeseen circumstances of place. Therefore, cognitive dissonance arises through social interaction of competing data in a place due to the configuring of socially embedded information engaged dynamically in that place resulting in unexpected and or residual outcomes.

What is harmonic quantum rhythm? It is when we choose to agree the observed path was/is the 'right' path taken as determined to be right in that quantum moment. In that way, all such moments become 'right' as believed to the 'best path' chosen and harmonic quantum rhythm is achieved. Effectively, choice determines harmonious quantum rhythm but only in the mode of compatibility ~ full as in complete agreement. Society as a totality of social reality functions in the same way. Weber said that choice determines who you are and your 'outcome' as in end; and this is applied to society. It is not surprising that we have the tendency in all choices to make them in compatibility mode... so as not to lose out as in loss of harmonic quantum rhythm.

*Jesus Christ was the first to point out -to society- that choice determines outcome...your (its) end.

Social Reality exists Best in Compatibility Mode

Not only is compatibility important for people but also machines, programs and the cosmos. Does that include the quantum world? I suppose so, everything interacts ~ many worlds interacting, right. How important is it? In programming compatibility is everything. Things just don't work well if they are not compatible. Information that sticks around does so because it is compatible with surroundings, those that exchange information and the place it is exchanged in.

In his book, "The Fabric of the Cosmos", Brain Greene (one of the world's leading physicists), talks about 'Pruning History' which does not sound like 'compatibility mode', but doesn't it. I mean pruning is about selecting certain elements/things/people and or information that appears to work best together. Greene tells us that his pruning is more like Niels Bohr's principle of complementarity; in that, one's own observation of either an electron or photon on its path has an impact on the path taken. Since they both have wavelike and particle like aspects...they are complementary features, they basically do what you the observer tell them to do.
On the quantum level, even if you could somehow force one to go one way and the other the other way, once you look, it will end being one way, your way. Greene says that our observation prunes the branches of quantum history; which means that our information controls the information that we choose to control. We choose information that is comfortable, easy and steady or stable. The resulting information will be what we want because it is compatible with the information we already have.

Socially -we act on the basis of our information. Of course, a reconfiguration of social dynamics between social interacting entities can happen (conversation) and that alone can be the catalyst of change as long as the information is compatible. When the reconfiguration of social dynamics is incompatible then there will be no change as there was no significant interference. We can imagine that when there is no interference going at all from any thing, there is no social interaction going on.  Even if we are able to determine any difference at all, it is not interference of just any kind but interference of a particular kind, the moment of observation is that particular. Compatibility is ultimately what makes social reality something we can all jump on board with whether we are talking about particles/waves electrons/photons, people or things as in computer programs.
